We continue to assist our community in so many ways, Our newest member Adam Derrick donated a stove to the Cassell House. We replaced three worn flags at the Hero’s center. We donated to the LEAP program so the children may have a year-end festival. We also gave to the High Point community Against Violence and are taking donations for the Leslie House in High Point, a female homeless Shelter.

If you are a veteran and would like to attend one of our veteran committee meetings, your presence is always welcome, even if it is just for a referral or to speak with someone who understands. Our meeting is on the first Thursday of every month at 6:00pm in the board room downstairs.

I wish to thank so many for all the events that are put on, it would take too many pages to list everyone, just know you are highly appreciated in your efforts.

On August 13th, myself, Karen, and Sean Kirk attended the DD clinic at the Greensboro Lodge on August 23rd. Our Leading Knight, Sean Kirk, presented a short synopsis of the DD clinic at our last Lodge meeting.
