Well members, it is time to turn the rains over to our next Exalted Ruler, Kevin Randall. It has been an extreme pleasure in serving you for the past two years. Your kindness and support has been overwhelming. I have had the opportunity to work with some of the best officers, chairmen, and committee members in my 11 yr. journey through Elkdom. I encourage you to give Kevin and his cabinet members your utmost support, he is very knowledgeable in Elkdom and will lead you in the right direction. Please welcome him when you see him. Greetings, let me introduce myself in case you don’t know me. My name is Kevin Randall, and I am excited for the opportunity to be your exalted ruler next year. First, I should tell you about my history with the Elks. I was the Exalted Ruler in Portage, WI lodge #675 in 2020-21 and 2021-22. I sat in every chair before becoming the Exalted Ruler. Elkdom is very important to me, we are part of the greatest fraternal organization in America. Be Proud that you are an Elk, and all that it represents. The Elks in Wisconsin were like a second family to me and will always hold a special place in my heart. I have had a very similar experience with the Elks at our lodge in High Point. I moved to North Carolina permanently in July of 2022. I started coming to this area in 2019, which the company I work for purchased a trucking company in Thomasville. I traveled to NC for about half the year in 2019 and visited the High Point lodge numerous times. Meeting a couple members by the names of TC and TA, they made me feel at home right away. When I finally moved here in 2022, I transferred my membership from Portage to High Point. I was the 5-year trustee last year and ENF fundraising chair. Finally, I hope that my experience within the Elks will help us work together to ensure that High Point Lodge #1155, has a great year.
