The House Committee is comprised of Members appointed by the Exalted Ruler to establish, update and execute the House Rules of our Lodge. This body is responsible for hiring, training and managing all Bar and Grille employees. The House Committee oversees all activities within the Lounge and Grille and establishes the pricing of food, beverages and activities within those areas. This committee also schedules events for our Members and their families. The House Committee typically meets the second Monday of each month at 7 pm in the Lounge or PER meeting room downstairs. All Members in good standing are invited to attend any meeting.
The Membership Committee realizes the strength and vitality of any organization largely depends upon its ability to maintain or increase its membership. We have an obligation to develop a positive attitude that inspires the people around you to create an atmosphere that encourages others to become members of our great Organization. We also possess a passion for membership retention. If enough Elks care, there isn’t any membership goal we can’t attain. We must continue to allow Members the freedom to choose their level of involvement, and remain mindful that if a Lodge can keep Members positive and enthusiastic, we will achieve growth for our Order. Each of us must be accountable for membership growth. The Membership Committee meets the second Tuesday of each month.
The Pool Committee is responsible for ensuring that our Members have a safe and enjoyable summer pool season at the High Point Elks Lodge. We have a great time! If you are interested in joining the Pool Committee, or just helping out, please contact the Lodge Office.

We also work to help find volunteers to run the swim team’s social activities. We offer a competitive summer swim league. All swimming abilities welcome!
The Elks National Veterans Service Commission was established in 1946, immediately after World War II, with the sole mission of serving our nation’s veterans. Though much has changed since then, the Elks’ dedication to serve veterans and military members in need has never wavered.
