Dignity Memorial Escape School – 05/14

Dear Parents:

Each year, more than 58,000 children are abducted from their families. In order to arm you and your children with ways to recognize, avoid or escape these potentially dangerous situations, we encourage you to attend a nationally recognized safety program, Dignity Memorial Escape School , which we are sponsoring on May 14th from 10am to 11am. This presentation is hosted by the High Point Elks Lodge and presented by Sechrest Funeral Service, a member of the Dignity Memorial Provider network.

Dignity Memorial Escape School is offered in an entertaining and non-threatening manner. The program teaches children how to differentiate between good and bad strangers, the common lures abductors use, how to get away, right away and how to find help when needed. In addition to teaching key concepts, presenters engage children in demonstrations featuring several simple yet highly effective techniques for escaping dangerous situations.

Since its inception in 1996, Dignity Memorial Escape School has been presented to over 5 million people, and seven children and one adult have credited this program with saving their lives. We want to continue making a difference and therefore would like to encourage you to attend this program with your children. By combining forces, we will get the message through to our kids and they will be able to better understand the ways to escape a dangerous situation.
