The High Point Elks Lodge will hold the annual Elks Hoop Shoot on Saturday, January 14th at the High Point Central High School girl’s gym inside the main school building on Ferndale Blvd.
Registration will start at 9:00 am and the Shoot will begin at 9:30 am. Please bring a birth certificate or a copy to show proof of age and refer to information on the HP Elks web site regarding registration and eligibility. Please fill out the registration form before you arrive. This Hoop Shoot is open to all boys & girls ages 8 through 13. They do not need to be an Elk member to participate.
Winners will advance to the District Hoop Shoot held in Winston-Salem, which will be held on January 29. Winners of the National event are enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame.
