Exalted Ruler Letter for December 2021

November was another successful month at our Lodge with many of our events focused on our members and their families. Family Dining Night on Thursdays is a great way to enjoy great burgers at an affordable price. Our November PER Steak Night was well attended, and the steaks were, once again, perfect. If you have not been to the Lodge on Sundays during football season, you are missing out. We have multiple TVs to see all the NFL games and Mike’s Wing are always available, along with other menu items. Special thanks to Bob Gold and his son Brandon for installing the new projector and a new 70” screen TV. Our Lounge is a perfect way to spend weekends watching football or attending our numerous events.

Veterans are very important to the Elks and our Lodge supported several different Veterans Day events last month. Richard and Angie Golden attended the High Point University Veterans Day program and later that day attended an event at the Strafford Retirement Home honoring their veterans. Dawn Dwyer has participated for several years with the Triad Honor Flight and once again flew with a veteran to Washington, DC to see the military memorials.

Please see the flyers in the newsletter for all the different activities coming up in December. In particular, we want to make sure you are aware of our upcoming Memorial Service on December 5th remembering our Lodge members who passed away this year, our Christmas Party and Open House on December 12th and our Members Only Christmas Party December 15th.

Please be sure to check out all of our Upcoming Events on the weekly e-blast and website.
