I hope you and your families are doing well!

In May, our Lodge took part in the Spring Convention in Charlotte, NC. It was wonderful to see fellow Elks and friends from across the state laughing and telling stories of their Lodge accomplishments. Our own Lodge won an award on behalf of our Americanism Committee. A big Thank You to Deanna Vernon and her group for all of their hard work. The latest theme was ‘What does it mean to love your country?’

Last month we celebrated the amazing mothers of our Lodge with a Mother’s Day Brunch. Thank you to Bob Gold and the rest of the event organizers for a very successful day! I heard we had over 70 happy moms and family members in attendance.

On Saturday June 11th we will hold our annual Flag Day Ceremony by the pool. We hope to see everyone there to celebrate and salute “Old Glory.”

Lastly, with Father’s Day approaching, I’d like to wish a big Happy Father’s Day to all the dad’s and father figures doing a fabulous job.
