Hello Brothers and Sisters:

We had some wonderful events at our Lodge in November. First, we hosted the Salisbury Lodge for the annual Traveling Gavel meeting. Salisbury has presented us with the gavel which we will safeguard until December when we pass it on to the Greensboro Lodge.

The Annual Andy Albertson & Steven Hall Memorial Charity Tournament was a tremendous success with members and guests coming together for a common goal of supporting our Veterans. We are proud to donate these generous proceeds to the Heroes Center Veteran Support Camp in High Point, which helps transition Veterans back to civilian life. Another great job by Deanna Vernon, we all thank you for your efforts for this big event.

Our Annual Chili Cook Off was another success with some very creative themes and costumes, and of course delicious chili. Gunny Schumann even dressed as Santa and arrived on his trike to surprise the children. Congratulations to all the Chili Cook Off winners!

As you see on our cover page, we were able to donate $1,500 to the Hero Center of High Point last month thanks to the cornhole tournament held in September. Thank you to Bon Gold and his realtor group of friends and associates for hosting this event at our Lodge and making this donation possible.

Congratulations to our Ladies Auxiliary for hosting a very success Holiday Mart on November 19th. Our Lounge was packed full of great vendors and many members and guests were able to get some early holiday shopping in.

Don’t forget to join us at our monthly PER Steak Nights (reservations required) and our delicious ‘Mike’s Wings’ on Sundays. Since our Lodge is open all year, drop by the Lounge for a game of pool or darts. Don’t have any darts? Just ask our bartender for a set to use. Kick back and watch a game on our many flat screen TVs. Attend a Lodge Meeting, held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. Come and enjoy your Lodge and see your dues in action!
