Oh my word!!! How time goes by so fast, I can hardly believe it was 6 years ago I joined the Ladies Auxiliary. The front entrance was locked, I did not think I could get inside so I left and went home. The next month I came and have not missed but maybe a handful of meetings! And now I am proud to say I am the 2010 – 2011 Ladies Auxiliary President.
We have a great group of “enthusiastic” ladies to help the High Point Elks Lodge #1155 in three major charities this year Camp Carefree, The VA, and the NC State Veterans Nursing Home in Salisbury. And our Ladies Auxiliary Charity we have taken on is Sheraton Towers.
I am looking forward to meeting you in our May meeting please join us for our dinner and social. I would also like to mention how much fun we have during the summer… no meetings! It is just “fun times” with old and new members or if you are just visiting the Ladies Auxiliary.
